Overview

Where? Blandford Forum I have been asked by a friend to see if I can find a new home for Wayfarer #6329 Built in around 1978. From glancing at it, I would say it is in reasonable condition and hasn’t been sailed for quite some years (the owner is in his 80s now) It is covered by a boat cover and tarpaulin. The cover will need replacement. The inventory includes a decent looking (bearings?) combi trailer (worth something in itself) a full suit of sails and jib furling gear. The mainsail has masthead bouyancy fitted. There appears to be both jib and genoa as well as a spinnaker. The boat is currently lying in Blandford Forum and I can arrange for viewings. I was unable to take any pictures due to time constaints. The picture shows a MK2 Wayfarer which may be of similar appearance, BUT is NOT the vessel itself. However the boat looked reasonable considering its age and storage. The Mast, boom, sails and other fittings are stored separately in a dry stable block. In my opinion it would be well worth a visit if you are looking for a family dinghy which will need TLC but could be a great starting point for cruising holidays or family days out. Wayfarer Dinghy #6329. GRP . White Hull, Blue deck. +44 7843 441464 okryder@gmail.com
