Where? Axmouth Harbour, Devon 26 foot lifting keel cruiser racer with a Yanmar 1GM10 inboard engine. Sails by Kemps in 2017 and lightly used, together with earlier ones still usable. Four berths, cooker, heads, auto pilot, VHF . Constructed in 1979 at Kenton by John Baker. Purchased by me in 2014 from original owner, since when several upgrades have been installed and she has been used almost exclusively for contesting cruiser bay races in which she has proven to be competitive with numerous line honours and periodic handicap victories. Covid restricted her usage and she has scarcely been used in subsequent seasons. Sturdy construction and the lifting keel means she is is well suited to shallow waters and drying out but retains stiffness under sail.
